What We Provide

MAF Engineering PLLC provides engineering consulting specifically to meet the needs of our client manufacturers, by way of in-depth analysis of their existing equipment designs, coupled with the necessity of meeting the most stringent requirements of the Codes and Standards to which they have designed their equpiment. We do this in a timely and cost effective manner, to meet project schedules.

Available Consulting Services
- ASME Code Design Reports, and Overpressure Protection Reports, as required, in accordance with the:
          -ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Sections III, VIII Divisions 1 and 2
          -ASME Performance Test Codes
          -ASME Power Piping Codes
- ASME Code Design Reports include analysis of all primary, secondary and peak stresses and service levels of operation,
- ASME Performance Test Code analyses of process fluid thermowells include the effects of vortex shedding.
- ASME Code analyses of valves include determination of primary pressure rating and standard calculation pressure.
- Structural and Seismic analyses of equipment frames, supports, bolting, welds and anchors are to the ASME Code, AISC Handbook and UBC, as required.
- Design Qualification analyses of existing equipment designs are to IEEE /EPRI / IPCEA / NEMA Standards, including thermal aging studies, seismic qualification, heat load, thermal damage limit, as required.
- Structure Load Summaries for equipment load transfer to plant building foundations and structures.
